Transitional Support Services
Transitional Youth
Transitional Youth (IHI) supports current and former foster youth ages 12–26 as they transition into adulthood by offering guidance, resources, and a caring support system. From education and career planning to life skills and housing help, we walk alongside youth as they build independence and stability
Housing
Our housing and support programs help youth find safety, stability, and connection during difficult times. Through outreach, resources, and community partnerships, we guide young people toward a more secure and supported future.
Emergency Shelter
Emergency Shelter Services and Therapeutic Crisis Homes are provided in individual “host” homes for boys and girls, ages birth to 18 years, in need of sanctuary, counseling, and crisis stabilization. Services and referrals are provided to return the young person home as soon as possible. The normal activities of the youth, including school or work, continue while they are in placement.
